Two rather interesting, some would say serendipitous things happened to me this week. Three days ago, I went looking for a screen protector for my phone. I went to three different stores, but couldn’t find one. Ordinary screen protector again!! The same thing happened with me looking for double sided scotch tape a day later. Both days, I came home empty handed.
Many of you will recall that I’ve been decluttering and so as I continued doing so in my bedroom, guess what I came across? Not just a one pack, but a three pack of screen protectors… for my phone. I also found some double sided scotch tape behind the pots in my kitchen.
And so because I don’t believe things happen by chance, because I look for patterns and critically consider all that occurs in my life, I paused to surface the lesson in this experience. What was I to learn?
That which you seek on the outside is already abundantly within you on the inside. But our tendency is almost always to look externally for others to validate that which has already been affirmed by the Divine which always points us from scarcity to abundance.
The key is to slow down to quiet the noise; to look inwards; to pay attention to the unfolding of your life; to the patterns.
It is to stay grounded in the knowing that all that unfolds is being weaved into a tapestry that will beautifully reflect sacred design and intention. Don’t go looking on the outside for what is already abundantly within you.
Those are my thoughts of the day; do with them as you will. Blessings!
